En- Masses & Drag Chain Conveyor
En-Masse &drag chain conveyorsare the most efficient form of material handling for high volume conveying. These chain conveyors also provide very efficient horsepower consumption keeping operating costs low. Slow moving chains in these conveyors influence the material to move gently through a closed duct in a horizontal or even in steeply inclined profiles. These can handle virtually any type of bulk material in an environmentally safe way due to its dust-tight and spill proof, totally enclosed construction. These conveyors are heavy duty and of rugged construction.
Material is induced to move smoothly through a slender dust-tight steel casing, horizontally, incline plane, vertically and around bends. The conveyor feeds itself at any point with uniform load. There is no internal disturbance or pressure on the material and the load can be discharged at any opening were permitted to fall away from the flights.
The material is conveyed with 'EN-masse' effect or 'Drag' effect. En-masse conveyors give cost advantages due to their lowpower consumption, compact size &low maintenance requirements.
